STUDIO AMELIA

You already know them for their buzzed-about, barely-there sandals and, now, Sydney-based Studio Amelia is back—with an exciting ready-to-wear debut exclusive to Moda. “Our collection is inspired by the lives that we lead as women, taking into consideration how versatile and adaptable we have to be,” says creative director Emily Amelia Inglis. In an elegant palette of ivory and chocolate silks with pops of cobalt blue (see: thigh-high boots), it’s a meditation on considered minimalism, motivated by her commitment to local craft and sustainable production.

The buy: the Bind Halter top layered over the wide-leg pant—it’s also the designer’s favorite look. “Both are made from a heavyweight linen and satin mix that we sourced from a wonderful mill in Italy and drapes perfectly on the body,” says Inglis. “Each button has been custom made from recycled paper.”
