MARIO BUATTA ANTIQUES FOR MODA DOMUS

The late, renowned interior decorator was known for his eclectic style—regal, whimsical, with layers and layers of print mixes—that earned him the title the Prince of Chintz as well as legions of A-list clients from the Forbes family to Mariah Carey. Created in collaboration with Moda and LSD, this collection spotlights a portion of his found antiques (he began collecting at age 11) ranging from exquisite porcelain décor by Mottahedeh to Chinoiserie furniture and even bronze decorations and tongue-in-cheek pillows that he often used to decorate his clients’ homes.
